Advertiser Overview
The System is an Internet Marketing Tool the use of which enables Advertisers
to selectively deliver Promotional Offers
to targeted savers via the saver's PC. Using the System's inbuilt (but
optional) Viewing Tools a saver, who has registered to use the System, may
view Promotional Offers even when their PC is "off-line".
Use of the System allows Advertisers to define and implement Promotional
Campaigns which target their Promotional Offers to savers living in
pre-defined areas. The definition of these areas can be based on various
parameters from post-code information through to
town, county and country information and can be
further defined by telephone code information, TV
viewing region etc. In addition, demographic filtering can be added to the
Promotional Campaign parameters (e.g. Age Group, Gender etc) to ensure only
selected saver Groups receive specific Promotional Offers.
How does it work?
-
Advertisers register to use the System on a Free of Charge basis.
-
Once registered, Advertisers utilise the System's Design Canvas Tool to
develop Promotional Offers in respect of their products and/or services.
-
Promotional Offers are incorporated into Promotional Campaigns which target the
Promotional Offers at certain geographic and/or demographic groupings of the
community.
-
In defining a Promotional Campaign, Advertisers incorporate parameters such as
promotion start-date & duration, number of Promotional Offer prints,
geographic targeting and demographic filtering to ensure that only the targeted
audience receives the Promotional Offer.
-
savers who have registered to use the System are able to view these
Promotional Offers using the System's Viewings Tools.
-
On identifying a Promotional Offer of interest the Saver downloads and
prints a Coupon version of the Promotional Offer which can be redeemed (in
accordance with the relevant T&C's) at the Advertiser's place of business.
-
When a Coupon is downloaded by a Saver a financial transaction is triggered
between the Advertiser and the System.
-
The financial transaction consists of a Fee being paid by the Advertiser in
return for which the Advertiser receives the demographic information
of those Savers who have printed the Coupon.
-
Transfer of information is conducted in accordance
with current Data Protection legislation enabling the Advertiser to communicate
similar Offers to the Saver at a later date
-
Payment of the Fee is effected in accordance with the Advertiser's registration
details and stated payment preference - either by Direct Debit or Credit/Debit
Card (or by negotiation via BACS transfer).
-
The Saver is always able to quickly and easily Opt-Out of the System should
they so choose.
